Winter Football training camp for under 14 started

KalimNews: As usual, a month long under 14 Winter Football Camp, organized by Kalimpong Veterans Club began today in Kalimpong mela ground.  Every morning from 7.00 am till 9.30 am the trainees will be trained by the well known veterans footballers, not only the football skills and other rules related to football but the discipline and moral teaching will be given to the children on this Winter Football Camp.

Gorkha Elders Forum  Felicitated elders 
Rupak Chhetri, KalimNews, Dimapur 2ndJan 2011: Gorkha Elders Forum , Dimapur felicitated Sri Arthur Edward, Shri. L.B Pradhan, Shri Sashank Gathraj  in recognition of their service rendered to the Gorkha Society and excellence in their Chosen  fields of activities  and services on the at Ekrani Pathar Dimapur on 2^nd jan 2011. The programme was held under the able leadership of Ganesh Chetri President GEFD.
The Gorkha Elders Forum, Dimapur also gave away prestigious certificate to its Members.
The programmed started with invocation of Pastor, Nepali Baptist Church, Padum Pukhuri Dimapur and welcome address by James Khati , Vice President GEFD.

Addressing the audience guests said that the benefits of being able to run a club or society are huge, gaining extensive experience of responsibility and project management are just a start. Even if vision doesn’t work out one has to learn from mistakes and be the better leader for it. In addition to this, keeping members interested and engaged is a fantastic experience that would most definitely contribute to one’s career.

The meeting of this registered body was first of its kind and has prominent members from NCS officers to Chief Manger of Bank , Retired Registrars to Bureaucrats.
