कालेबुङका वार्डहरूमा गुरुङले गठन गरे कमिटी
मनोज बोगटी, कालिमन्युज, कालेबुङ, १३ नोभेम्बर | आगामी नगरपालिका चुनाउको निम्ति आफ्नो पार्टीका उम्मेदवारहरू घोषित गरिएपछि त्यसैदिनदेखि गोर्खा जनमुक्ति मो अध्यक्ष गुरूङ कालेबुङका आफ्नो पार्टीका उम्मेदवार अनि वार्डका जनतासित मिलेर प्रत्येक वार्डमा बङ्गाल नगरपालिका अधिनियम अनुसार वार्ड कमिटी गठन गर्न जुटिरहेका छन्| ११ तारिख रामकृष्ण रङ्गमञ्चमा उम्मेदवारहरू चयन गर्ने क्रममा स्पष्ट रूपले नगरका कार्यकर्ताहरूलाई यसपल्ट नगरपालिकाको कार्यढॉंचा बेग्लै हुने बताएका थिए| भ्रष्टचार रोक्न, वार्ड पार्षदहरूको मनमानी रोक्न प्रत्येक वार्डमा वार्ड कमिटी गठन गर्ने तिनले दिएको वचनलाई पूरा गर्दै प्रत्येक वार्डका उम्मेदवार अनि जनतालाई लिएर वार्ड कमिटी गठन गरेका छन्| आज तिनले प्रत्येक वार्डका १० देखि १४ जनासम्मलाई लिएर वार्ड कमिटी गठन गरेका छन्| कमिटी गठन गर्दै कमिटीका प्रतिनिधिहरूलाई भाइबन्दी अनि ठेकेदारीबाट अलग रहने अनि आफ्नो वार्डको विकासको निम्ति निःस्वार्थ रूपले योगदान दिने निर्देश दिएका छन्| अर्कोतिर जनता अनि कमिटीको विरूद्धमा कुनै पनि उम्मेदवारले कार्य गरेको गुनासो आए तत्कालै राजीनामा दिनुपर्ने चेतावनी समेत गुरूङले दिएका छन्| आज कालेबुङको सबै वार्डहरूसित बसेको सभामा नगरपालिकाका पूर्वघोषित अध्यक्ष एलबी परियार, गोजमुमो पार्टी सहसचिव विनय तामाङ. केन्द्रिय नेता प्रविण रहपाल, नोर्देन लामा, विजय सुन्दास अनि स्टडी फोरमका सदस्य डा. आरबी भूजेल उपस्थित थिए| सभामा नै वार्ड पार्षद अनि वार्ड कमिटीका प्रतिनिधिहरूको अर्को बैठक् १५ नोभेम्बरको दिन निम्ति बोलाइएको छ, सो बैठकमा नरपालिकाको कार्यप्रणालीमाथि चर्चा परिचर्चा हुने बताइएको छ|
अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनले राजनैतिक मुदा उठाउन सक्छ-मुनिष
मनोज बोगटी, कालिमन्युज, कालेबुङ, १३ नोभेम्बर | राष्ट्रियस्तरमा छुट्टैराज्यको आन्दोलन गर्ने भार अब भागोपलाई छ | किन भने हिजो पहाडका राजनैतिक दल अनि अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनहरूबीच भएको बैठकमा भागोपलाई नै छुट्टैराज्यको आन्दोलनको नेतृत्व सुम्पिएको छ | अघिबाट नै भागोपले गोर्खाल्याण्ड टास्क फोर्स गठन गरेको छ जसको राष्ट्रिय अध्यक्ष आर मोक्तान रहेका छन् | हिजो सर्वद्लीय बैठकले तयार पारेको मञ्च नाम पनि गोर्खाल्याण्ड टास्क फोर्स नै रहेको छ | आर मोक्तानले बताए अनुसार भागोपकै टास्कफोर्सलाई नै सर्वदलीय सहमतिले उचित नाम रहेको बताएपछि यसै फोर्सलाई नै सर्वदलीय मञ्च बनाइएको छ | यता भागोप एक अराजनैतिक सङ्गठन भएकोले छुट्टै राज्य जस्तो राजनैतिक मुद्दाको उठान कसरी गर्न सक्छ भन्ने कुरा अघिबाट नै व्यापकरुपले चलिरहेको कुरा हो |
भारतीय गोर्खा परिसङ्घ अराजनैतिक सङ्गठन रहेकोले नै राजनैतिक मुद्दाको उठान गर्न नसकेको बताइने गरे पनि राजनैतिक दलहरुले छुट्टैराज्यको मुद्दा सहीरुपले उठान गर्न नसकेकोले नै आन्दोलन सफल नभएको विषयमा सर्वदलीय बैठकमा चर्चा भएको मोक्तानले बताएका छन् | राजनैतिक सचेतकहरूले पनि छुट्टैराज्यको मुद्दाको उठानसित नै सहुलियतहरूको माग गरिएकोले नै जहिल्यै पनि आन्दोललाई स्थगित गरेर अन्य व्यवस्थामा नै आन्दोलन टुङ्गिने गरेको बताइरहेका छन् | दुइपल्टको आन्दोलन नै राज्य केन्द्रित रहेको मात्र होइन राज्य सरकारलाई विकास नभएको गुनासो गरिएकोले नै टुङ्गोमा पुग्न नसकेको राजनैतिक दहरूले बताउने गरेको छ |
भागोपले पनि यही कुरालाई अनुभव गरेको बताइएको छ | गोर्खा राष्ट्रिय मुक्ति मोर्चा अनि गोर्खा जनमुक्ति मोर्चाले छुट्टैराज्यको आन्दोलन गर्यो तर दवै नै विकासको मुद्दामा आएर आन्दोलनलाई शिथिल बनाउन मात्र होइन बाधा गर्ने काम पनि गरिरहेको पर्यवेक्षकहरु बताउँछन् | गोरामुमोले दागोपाप अनि गोजमुमोले जीटीए थापेपछि छुट्टैराज्यको आन्दोलन सकिएको धेरैले अनुभव गरिरहेको बेला भागोपले केन्द्र अनि राज्यलाई छुट्टैराज्यको आन्दोलन सकिएको छैन अनि अब यसको उठान राष्ट्रियस्तरमा हुने बताएको छ |
आर मोक्तानले भने, जीटीए तथा दागोपाप छुट्टैराज्यको सवालमा तुलना गर्न नमिल्ने मुद्दाहरू हुन् | सहीरुपले कुनै पनि द्लले मुद्दाबारे केन्द्रलाई बुझाउन नसकेको कुरा नै टास्क फोर्सले गहिरोरुपले लिएको छ | यसकारण टास्कफोर्सले केन्द्रलाई पूर्णतथ्य सहितको दस्तावेजहरू बुझाउने छ| एक अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनले राजनैतिक दलहरूलाई एकत्रित गरेर भागोपले राजनैतिक मुद्दाको उठान कसरी गर्न सक्छ भन्ने प्रश्नको उत्तरमा भागोपका राष्ट्रिय प्रवक्ता मुनिष तामङले भने, भागोपलाई अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनले राजनैतिक मुद्दा उठान गर्न हुँदैन भन्ने कुरालाई मान्दैन | जन सरोकारका कुरा भागोपले उठान गर्न सक्छ | यदि अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनले राजनैतिक मुद्दाको उठान नगर्ने हो भने अराजनैतिक सङ्गठनका कार्यकर्ताहरूले भोट पनि नहाल्नु पर्न हो | राजनैतिक दलसित संलग्नहरूले मात्र भोट हाल्नु पर्ने हो | भारतमा कुनै पनि नागरिकले राजनैतिक विचारको निर्माण गर्न सक्छ, राजनैतिक सवालमा बोल्न सक्छ | टास्क फोर्सले भारतभरिका गोर्खाहरूको राजनैतिक अनि चिन्हारीको सवालमा बोल्ने छ |
Remanti & Robin declared North East ke superstar
KalimNews: The singing and dancing duo Remanti Rai (25) and Robin Mukhia (21) of Sikkim were declared ‘Northeast Ke Superstar’. The two Sikkimese talents, Remanti and Robin have secured highest votes in the singing and dancing events respectively in the ‘Northeast Ke Superstar’, a talent hunt contest organized by North East Council (NEC) for the eight Northeastern States.After Prashant as Indian Idol both Remanti and Robin have been sucessfull as the Himalayan hearththrob of their fans.
They had reached the grand finale for the dancing and singing categories and received cash prizes and a 1-year contract with an event management company in dancing and singing categories.
Young wife killed by husband
Prabin Khaling, KalimNews, GANGTOK, NOVEMBER 13: 22 years old woman was brutally tortured and beaten to death by her husband early Sunday morning at the class IV government quarter at Raj Bhawan complex. Police said the accused murdered his wife Rakhi Rai under the influence of alcohol after a heated argument.
The accuse, 32 year old LB Rai working as a peon at Raj Bhawan office has been arrested by Police. According to Tshering Sherpa, Police in charge of Sadar Police Station it started with a verbal duel between the accused and the victim. The duo had come back late night after attending the birthday party. On the basis of the information received from the neighbors the police recovered the dead body lying in the bed.
“The case is of alcohol brawl since both the husband and wife was drunk” Mr. Sherpa informed.
LB Rai beat his wife with the belt and also poured boiled hot water which led in several brusies and abrasions in the body of the victim. The accused has been booked under 302 of IPC and taken under five days remand. He will be produced before the court on Monday.
Pedong express Roshni third in Banglore Marathon
KalimNews: Roshni Rai was adjudged third in the Bangalore marathon held today. She took 12 hrs 54 mts to cover a distance of 75 km and declared third in the women category.
Pften known as Pedong Express Roshni is also running Mumbai marathon in January 2012.
Bhaichung made Bengal sports ‘icon’
VIVEK CHHETRI, TT, Darjeeling, Nov. 13: Bengal government has appointed Bhaichung Bhutia as the sports “icon and ambassador” of the state.
The announcement was made by state sports minister Madan Mitra at the St Joseph’s School (North Point) ground where the final of the All India Brigade of Gurkha Gold Cup was held today.
Jamshedpur-based Tata Football Academy defeated Bhaichung’s United Sikkim 2-1 in the final.
“Our government has appointed Bhaichung Bhutia as the icon and ambassador of sports in Bengal,” Mitra said amid huge applause from the supporters of the former national football captain in Darjeeling.
Bhaichung thanked the Bengal government for the initiative. “It is a great honour. I have spent half of my life in Bengal and I will try my best to promote football and other sports in the state,” the player said when told about the minister’s announcement.
The minister said the government was pumping in Rs 3 crore (to renovate the Gorkha stadium at Lebong) and would soon start winter sports in the hills along with special camps for games like hockey. “Our government has also decided to give Rs 1 lakh to the winning team, Rs 75,000 to the runners up and Rs 50,000 to the man of the match of this tournament,” said Mitra.
Despite, Bhaichung being appointed the sports ambassador and the crowd cheering his team all along, the Sikkim team failed to win the finals. The match was tied till half time. Although Bhaichung stepped into the field after 60 minutes, the TFA pumped in two goals through Balmuch and Simranjit. Bhaichung tried to make way for another goal but a tight TFA defence hardly gave any space to him.
Nevertheless, the Sikkim team fought hard with Karan Atwal finding the net though it proved too little and too late. The TFA won with the final score reading 2-1.
After the match, Bhaichung said: “The game is about winning and losing. Our boys also played well today and I would like to congratulate the TFA for lifting the Gurkha Gold Cup.”
